hey guys i had some audio gear installed in Car Audio Excellence in Penrith on saturday and i had to return 3 times due to stupid things like, them not Running my RCA lead like i paid for, 1 of my splits werent working, then now i have to go back again because the sub i brought doesnt work and the f**ker havent connected my heater/air conditioning

what the hell should i do??

anything is valuable at the moment

As BKS has said, go back there again first thing in the morning, demand that everything be fixed and working before you leave...

Check it all before the drive away and make sure you retain your warranty cards...

If anything happens within that warranty period, go back, see the manager and demand your money back as you've had nothing but troubles...

as some knows, audiofx in camberwell is closed, so i searched for another audio shop, not saying the name..

well, same thing happens, sh!t doggy job, and not cheap, still problem not solved.. i didnt even ask for discount and pays as he said.

went back and done the same thing as BlindKidSeeks & RollaBoy suggested, bad choice, 2 scratches on my interior trim, 1.5cm length, done when removing the front pillars.. what can i say?

beware, some aussie sh!t definately have fuked up mind.. :ph34r:

its really hard 2 find a decent place to have any car work done. DIY !!!!!

I had to get a High end head unit repaired so i sent it through a Audio shop called P******m Car audio and interiors. I got it back after a year of not even 1 phonecall from them not even fixed!

1 fkn repair job taking a year? left a really sour taste about them. Honestly, DIY, learn to do it. I have and its the best thing ive done, and suprisingly i am getting customers, and i dont even do it as a professional job.

Take some Inittiative and try things yourself. Cos these days, its hard 2 find quality workmanship.

1 excellent audio place ive constantly heard good wraps from is FHRX in sydney. I think in sutherland

Anyways, thats my 2 cents, more like 3

      Please help Reverse Trigger wire harness for Camry Hybrid 23

      Dear all I have a Camry Ascent Hybrid 2023 with standard version, 7 inch touch screen Fujitsu Denso FT0106B head unit. Today I removed the head unit and replaced with the Alpine ILX-F511A and connect the plugs by Aerpro wire harness. I connected all the plugs but there is a 28 pin plug does not have the wire harness from Aerpro cable. Everything is working except the reverse Camera. I connected the reverse trigger wire to Aerpro reverse trigger but the camera does not work when I change the gear to reverse position. I think this error comes from the 28 pin plug which is not connected. If someone knows which wire harness color and which pin is the car reverse trigger please help me with it. And the FM radio is not working too, I do not know which car wire color to connect the blue wire from antenna connector too. Thank you so much.

      rear wheel arch hole covers (3rd row seats removed)

      I have purchased the rear seat hole covers for my 2024 fortuner and I am very pleased with them. It comes with all the necessary fixings. The plastic finish is a little different but it's ok. Very happy with the service as well. Nautia engineering in WA.

      Drive shafts

      I paid $1200 ish to get a pair fitted to my aurion couple years ago. Thats supplied & fitted. Apparently it wasnt a fun job. Id get the mechanic to source the parts incase theres an issue in the future.

      Vibration through body (not steering wheel) under acceleration

      Well, new tyres, a proper wheel balance seems to have done about 90% of the trick - the car now drives like it once did. The only thing is that a wheel bearing was called out as "completely stuffed" and as it is so bad, the only way to fix due to wear on the knuckle is to replace the whole thing. Quoted $600 for the repair and no parts for this until mid next week. Once this is replaced I will update if back to 100% or still more problems. I was thinking that the aftermarket CV shafts could be to blame - very glad this turned out not to be the case.

      New to Toyota - 2005 Corolla Sportivo!

      Long time no update. In all honesty, not an awful lot to update on. Life has been super busy and inbetween life, I get a chance here and there to clean the beast and also arrange for the usual 5000 km oil change. The car is showing it's age with more noticeable paint fade on the roof. After some time I've decided to order the parts to fix my slow power steering leak. After receiving the quote from Toyota, I was able to get the parts from overseas for not even a 1/3 of the cost it would've cost me to order here. The parts are due here in 2-3 weeks and I'm thinking of getting this done with the major service which will be due later this year at some point seenig as the car is quickly approaching 293000 kms this month. Other than that, I'm still enjoying driving the car and the money spent late last year was well worth it.

      I've noticed the same issue after changing the front shocks from OEM to KYB - and while I don't think the shocks are to blame, it could be that there's been an issue which the old shocks covered up by not working at all after 230,000kms. I've also changed the CV joints in mine, replaced the front suspension bushings; hoping that a wheel alignment and new tyres helps this - will post back in the morning the result. Adam,
