Can anyone tell me if the 4 cylinder model Camry 1995 has an electronic engine management system ?

I have been given conflicting opinions. (Sorry, I don't have the model designation). It is the Australian released model.

If it is the same as the v6s, it pretty much just holds the gears longer.

lol

its ECT, electronically controlled transmission.

btw, why does the gen3 camry's have the ECT and not the gen4's and 4.5's? with the gen5's and so on, i understand why they prolli dont need it as engines are vvti, but mmm

reason y i brought it up was that the 2002 is200 has the ECT.

and man, the old is200's have too much toyota components in its interior, just looks a tad cheap.
