Look here www.howstuffworks.com if you want to learn how a muffler works.

Also I dont know why people want to do things 'cheap' these days but I would suggest you spend abit more.

Hey I got a 2.5" Cannon on my 07 Corolla Hatch. I got 2.5" Piping from the Cat back.

All up it cost me

$250- Cannon

$216- Fitting, Piping and Welding

It sounds great and i have not noticed any power difference

Oh ok makes sense, btw I got my Cannon for free, thats just how much i saw it at Autobarn one day.

I just got it done at my local exhaust place in the area. And the Cat back means I got new exhaust piping from the Catalict Convertor back to the end of the exhaust. Just means i got a little bit bigger piping for the cannon.

Also its good to see another keen Auris....i mean Newer style Corolla owner :D

Hi guys

Just wondering if a xforce twin loop s12 oval could be silenced.

Can rasonators be taken out or put another one on and would it be quit or louder also does it block airflow comming out of it.

Was thinking of going to livopool exhaust to get some advise if they can do me a custom silencer.

im not a pro when it comes to exhaust or mufflers so will need help.

LOL.

If you want your exhaust to be louder, get someone to remove the resonator and replace it with some plain piping and keep the stock muffler. Should be cheap and you won't lose any torque.

You still asking the stupid questions Stinky. :o

If you don't want the noise then please go back to stock and save yourself from getting flammed badly. why put a muffler on your car and then have to put an extra resonator on to shut it up.

My solution is just put the stock muffler back on and weld on a huge mofo chrome tip to look furry sik. you get the look with no noise bro. ;)

add silencer maybe???

most jap cat back exhausts are going to cost $800 - 1200 new. you got off very lightly for that price.

haha you seem to know what your talking about! what kind of exhaust do you recommend to keep same torque if not improve it? carrying heavy loads occasionally and i hate it when my car dies in the *****!!
