hey mate, im not sure if this is relevent but i got a 9886, but you gotta press down the large volume knob, then put subwoofer level to 15, press it again it will go to bass, and press it again then treble, then your balance and front and back, im not sure what the last thingy does, but there is also another set up when you hold the little f thing to the left of your channels and also when you hold down the imprint button to the right. to exit the menu hold down the silver return button near the volume knob. good luck

Also if you are going to get the imprint system thingy, make sure it is suited to your 9887 as there is several different versions for different head units, its about 300$ (but can be haggled down) and does a 100 or so point eq so you dont have to mess with the bass and treble, if you do use it, make sure you analyse all seats not just the driver or it will sound really bad.

but after subwoofer level it just goes straight to fade and balance, cant seem to get treble/bass at all =(

ah wells, doesnt really concern me anymore cause i was told to adjust it from which is better than the headunit.
