Reading on 9th Gen Corolla that there is gains to be had in porting the Intake Manifold, is this true on our stivos??

I have the vaguests of recollections that a TOCAU person tried this and FUBAR'd that whole thing up - needed to replace the whole thing...

You might get some gains from extrude honing, but the bang for buck factor would be low.

One very time consuming process that should be undertaken only by someone with experience as if you stuff it up you'll make your car lets say not so nice to drive or expensive to buy another manifold.

Manifold runners are pretty damm big for a N/A car so I couldn't see making them bigger much of a gain without adding a bigger throttle body and then a tunable aftermarket ECU.
