US Toyota/TRD parts dealer

Recommended Posts

After speaking to Ash and Daryl last night, here is a link to a US Toyota dealer site that I have purchased from. These guys have been good to deal with. Usually I just send an email parts enquiry rather then using the online ordering system.

Any idea if this will work with our Aurions?

Yeah, funny you brought that up. I looked at that myself and though 'hmmmm'. Butt then I noticed the little thing at the bottom 'Notes: 5-speed'. One would suspect this is for the manual transmission model of the Camry only.

Edit: Did a quick search and this page shows it's applications.

i'm VERRRRRYYYYYYYY tempted with the exhaust though...

I think the TRD exhaust is a Borla item...dont think its really worth the extra amount of money compared to a decent muffler. I've asked a local dist. and they said its well over a grand...for 2 mufflers.

the trd exhaust is roughly 1000 US (including postage)...

its a proven product..

its a cat back exhaust...

other companies want in excess of 1500 for a product which has NO guarantees that it will not drone for that price... and its in mild steel, not stainless steel...

i seriously dont see a downside...

i'm gonna see how much they charge in New Zealand for the exhaust... it might be cheaper over there...

I've got a mechanic specializing in differentials doing some research on my car now. He reckons he can definetely help with the power delivery with an auto/manual diff lock.

I'll keep you guys posted on the progress and how much it will cost.

Man, AWD-like handling in the Aurion will be friggin awesome.
