2ZZGE Celica headers on Corolla sportivo

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried these headers on their corolla sportivo?

Or anyone have any thoery's on whether they would fit or not....

Ebay Celica 2ZZ-GE Headers

cant see why not, i mean, they look identical to the factory sportivo headers, apart from the fact the above headers are made from a shiner, more crackable material

It might fit if you have a pre march 03 stivo like a few do around here.

That is because later model of the 2zz has ports for air injection which isn't utilised here so the headers have tabs built in to block them off.

You'll have to check which is easy.

Refer to Sportivo Header Thread

and Headers for Sale Thread

Enjoy!

Aftermarket performance headers for $155? I'm not so sure about if these are going to stand up or perform. Better go with what's been tried and proven. Don't be a guinea pig.

I have a set of un ported stock pre March 2003 headers (Do not cover air holes) for $60, all you would need is to get them ported and flowed.

What's wrong with them ? I thought the 1zz guys were happy with wildcat headers.

Not liking the way they are joined since the headers 'tubes' (i am not sure what you call them) are seperated... and the picture tells a different story.

i for one say NO to those <_<

My opinion,

I agree being pressed bend rather than mandrel bends, but nevertheless another option on the table. I don't think anyone here has tried them out yet to give them a fair review.

The reason why the 1zz extractors make power is because the stock 1zz manifold is, well, rubbish. On the other hand the stock manifold for the 2zz actually has some design in it, hence why the TRD extractors are the same, except for being a slightly larger diameter. Currently the cheapest, and best, option for the 2zz manifold is having it correctly ported.

Hmmm, depending on pricing... whoops, off topic

port and polish your 2ZZ headers, and you'll love it B)

And also, the Celica headers won't fit on the stivos dated after whenever it was mentioned above, BKS tried it, and they had a slightly different holes to mount them :o
