2008 Camry Altise - H7 Bulb Fitting/Loom
Hi all, The small black plastic fitting (that the H7 Low Beam Bulbs clip into) have degraded/melted on my 2008 Camry Altise, does anyone know where I can buy just the small black plastic clips? Or will I have to replace the entire wiring assembly (the bit that goes all the way from the bulb back to where the wire plugs into the car)? If I'll have to replace the entire wire/assembly, does anyone know where I can get one of these from that won't break the bank? I've contacted a few wreckers and they will ONLY supply the entire headlight (the glass, the bulb, the wires) at a significant cost. Please let me know if any ideas, thanks all. -

Rav4 Screen changed unexpectedly
I have the odometer set to analogue and have Eco turned on. The odometer reading is always white on a black background. As I was driving along my street, 60kmph I glanced down and noticed that the odometer writing had turned red. Eeek! Red usually is a warning sign, right? There was absolutely nothing else on the screen to notify a warning of any sort. A few metres further along, it switched back to white. Does anyone have any idea what that was all about? Grateful for any input. -

Replacement springs for 2016 Aurion Sportivo
Always found it a bit soft in teh suspension. Do you know of anyone who does custom springs? I haven't had any luck finding anyone. Should have updated the springs and sway bars years ago. Now shocks are gone so struts HAVE to come out, so ideal time to update stuff, unfortunately no one seems to make stuff any more. No chance of a new car as I am already spending more than I earn. No way I can afford a new car or even a newer car, which still will probably be too soft and scape the front and rear . A couple of years ago could have still bought KMAC bars but looks like they only do alignment stuff these days -

Lowering Aurion GSV50R
Hi guys First post for me also. I was just reading the email to Sam regarding lowering the GSV50R series and im glad to hear that there are lowered springs to fit the 50 series. As you have recommended Kings and Pedders, i am just struggling to find them to order online as it says that the product is not available. If you can send us a link for me to order these springs for my 2012 Sportivo ZR6 that would be great 🙂 thank you Mo -

Drivers side mirrors - zze122 vs zre122
THE BACKS ON MOST TOYOTA MIRRORS JUST CLIP ON SO YOU CAN SWAP THEM. INCREASED OIL CONSUPTION IS NORMAL FOR OLDER ENGINES. YOU CAN BUY OIL DESIGNED FOR HIGH MILAGE ENGINES, THAT WILL SLOW DOWN THE USEAGE, 1ZZ ENGINES USE OIL AFTER A WHILE, BUT IT IS NOT WORTH REPAIRING, IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE CAR YOU WOULD BE BEST OFF SOURCING A NEWER ENGINE FROM A WRECKER OR ENGINE IMPORTER.- 1

Brake issues with 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid
@otnimus did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? Was it the "hybrid" brake pedal causing it ? -

Drivers side mirrors - zze122 vs zre122
Hi All, A roo took out my driver's side mirror yesterday and I need to replace it. I've got an 03 ascent wagon - zze122. I've found a mirror online, but it's zre122. Do you know if this matters for the mirror? I can't find info about it online. And, I've got painted backs to my mirrors, but the one I've found is black. I went back and retrieved the parts off the road and the painted back doesn't have any damage to the connections. Is it likely that the black back on the new mirror will just pop off in the same way so I can put my original back on? Thank you Great car btw - it's for 310,000km on the clock and has only just started drinking oil, in the last 20,000km. The only off service problems I've had on it have been the headlight lever ($120 to replace) and the rear passenger door auto lock sporadically didn't work (swapped it out with one from a wrecked car I got for free and its going strong). Oh, and had a coin put in the cigarette lighter then my stereo stopped working - replaced the fuse and good as new. Any idea how long it'll keep on going?
