Okay, everyone, I need help ASAP.

But does anyone know what the wiring is for the stock headunit? I need this as I'm adding a Line Level Converter & I DO NOT KNOW which wire is which, I need front left +, front left -, front right +, front left - & remote... anyone know these?

Please help ASAP.

Aye :) I just did the wiring with my mate, and well it turns out the wiring is the same from 1987 till now... how weird...

99% of toyotas have the same harness since toyota began, they have never changed them, even their starter wires, 12v constant wires, ignition wires etc etc r all the same from 19ancient to 2000000forever..... toyotas are the best car to work on especially headunit refits, a landcruiser trayback takes me about ten minutes start to finish  .... i challenge someone to beat me :P

I'd gladly accept that challenge if I could be bothered organising it :P

For future reference, get yourself a 9v Battery and stick the corresponding wires onto the battery...

The speaker will pop and you'll know which wires go to which speaker :) ...

I can't really do that, because from the back, I need to cut the wires which I didn't do. we just trimed the protective sheet, and put the Live Level Converter. Still, the older model Corolla's helped a lot.

LOl, Nikko thanks for this reply. However I already got my job done :)

Thanks once again, for at least helping... check my headlight thread? I'm still in need of help... I don't trust that pulling the old bulbs out and fitting Xenon ones in will work...
