Does anyone know of any vintage clubs in Sydney? I am looking at obtaining classic/historical rego for my old corona, and havent been able to find any toyota specific clubs. Can you join any classic club or does it have to be one that is for your make of car? I figure why pay $600-800 a year for something that gets driven once a month, and for the odd test drive whilst im restoring it. I know there are restrictions on historic vehicle rego but that is fine.

Toymods Car Club has a fair few historics in it... The Club President has Historic plates on his TA22 from memory...

Toymods is a registered club as far as historic rego is concerned as well, so you can drive a historic-rego'd Toyota to any Toymods event.

Definitely worth checking out, for more than rego too.
