2000 Hilux Clutch replacement
Honestly mate, it looks more daunting than it actually is. I put a new clutch kit in my 2001 RZN147r, Got a Clutch Industries Aust Heavy Duty kit. The trans will slide back up over the rear x-member, just remove rear trans mount, I actually had the wife operating the trolley jack while I manouvered it out of the splines on the clutch plate and lowered it down -

Aurion stalling randomly?
Did you ever get to the bottom of this? My son has 2006 aurion sportivo. Exactly same sort of issue. Often happens in reverse soon after starting car. Other times when accelerating from idle (like at traffic lights). Had a few mechanics look at it. Left everyone scratching their heads, as the problem won't replicate when they have it in the garages. -

2000 Hilux Clutch replacement
Hello, I own a 2000 Hilux Workmate RZN147R with the 2 litre motor and G54 transmission. I am looking at replacing the clutch but have foreseen one problem that may make it a bit difficult. The cross member at the rear of the transmission that holds the torsion bars is welded to the frame. It overlaps the transmission even with the transmission is fully installed. I can't see how to remove the transmission without having to move it back to disengage the spline and then tipping it down enough that I can then move it forward until the end clears the cross member. I am wondering if this is too cumbersome to attempt under the vehicle with vehicle stands raising it up at home and if I should have it done by a repair shop with a proper hoist to work under. Has anyone else done this repair? -

alarm for Hiace
I have had my Hiace for a year now. Im looking into wiring in an alarm however I have no idea where to find the right cables I need to tap in to and redirect them to the alarm. can somebody please help me with maybe a guide or wiring diagram. im looking into the mongoose alarm with gps tracker. I supposes I need to find the cables that go to the indicators, door contact switches, ignition, fuel pump, acc, ect... It would also be great to know about all the spare connectors behind the dash board for aux switches as I have noticed them all around the van in odd locations and wondering if they are connected to the acc to uses as a relay coil to switch contracts. -

Toyota 2006 Kluger Grande 3.5 L - at about 55kph vibration
Control arm bushing won't induce vibrations but more of a knock when jostled. -

Stedi H11 Projector LEDs
Yes I agree 100%. The locking tabs are a PITA to engage. If there was a safe way to remove that single skin of metal behind each headlight it would give a bit more wiggle room. I can't see how it would affect the structural integrity.- 1

Stedi H11 Projector LEDs
I have done the same when replacing the parking bulbs. However, I not fully removed the plastic inner wheel guard. Instead I have removed just the front retaining clips and pulled back the inner guard for enough working space. I went and had another look at the passenger side headlight bulb. I manage working above and to one side when replacing the headlight bulb. Certainly thought a few times about removing the battery [but not yet done] for more room when replacing the passenger side headlight bulb. For myself, the main issue has been seating the bulb properly in the headlight housing and engaging the locking tabs.- 1

Engine Oil 1GD FTV
I have recently added Castrol Magnatec 5W30 meant for Petrol and Diesel engines in Hilux 1GD engine. So far it is running great. Has anyone else used this Brand and viscosity oil? -

Bluetooth connects, disconnects, over and over.
I have started having an issue with the Bluetooth in my 2011 Yaris. When I first start the car, bluetooth connects to my phone, but only for a few seconds before it disconnects again. It does this over and over. Sometimes when I notice that it has just connected, I can start to play something on my phone (music) and it'll then stay connected. But the chance of doing this only happens after four or so times that it's gone through the connect/disconnect cycle. Has anyone experienced this? Is there some solution? Thanks.
