Hey guys,

I just got my hands on a set of cheap suspensions which resembled a lot like the cusco zero 2s but the faint model number on them says 166 602...(can't see the last 3 digits) The cusco zero 2 part number should be 166 60L CN.

The springs were changed to Rs*r Ti2000 as well. The number of coils on them is significantly less that the springs that usually comes with the suspension.

Here are some pics

Here is a picture of the cusco zero 2 taken from northy's page

So any ideas here?

With the newer springs, would the ride be harder?

they're zero-2's with RSR springs, I'l take a guess that they'll be a fair bit stiffer than the stock cusco springs given the difference in the number of windings and spring length.. Will be interesting to see if they're leaking yet, looks like the insert on the far right of the first pic has already sprung one.

I had a good check and they aren't leaking at all. It would be good that they are zero 2s. The tein super wagons are so bouncy.

I'd put money on them being a lot harsher than superwagon's

The standard Cusco Zero2 spring rate of F7kg/mm and R5kg/mm is a lot stiffer than the Tein's F3kg/mm and R3kg/mm. Are there any part numbers on the springs?

Otherwise if the part number on the strut is still there you can compare it to this post http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...st&p=178673

this is the other part number found on the inside of the adjustables

# 00b 602 w10as 06 04

Does not match up with anything.

Np part numbers on the springs except for Ti2000. ><

correct me if i'm worng cusco owners, but the cusco coils only have 5 levels of damper adjustments.. so that may be one thing to check.. cause if you got them for cheap the odds are that they are G4's, or something nasty like that..

They look about right and the pictures up top show the 5 step adjustment. Try and fit them and see if they go in, the differences in strut numbers could be down to batches. I'd wind the lower clevis mount down about 2" before installing as they look stupidly low.
