:D Awesome Clarence ! Very Nice indeed, can't wait to see it.

I love the ST205 Celica GT4's, a real rare sight in Australia, they really stand out and have excellent performance to boot.

I think you'll be holding on to this one for a while ;)

Very nice, and a good price dude.

Yes they are rare, try to keep it stock, as it value will only appreciate.

hmm, I dunno about stock... apparently it's already been modified by the previous owner, it has a 3" stainless steel dump pipe already :P used to have a boost controller as well...

a very special and unique celica indeed...

Very nice indeed, personally I would get rid of the Wing , then debadge and put some nice wheels on it.

Nah, that would spoil the unique-ness of the vehicle.

If it was any other tyoe of celica, then yeah, make a sleeper out of it, but not a rare model...

I say - Show the thing off....

Cheers

excuse my ignorance....i know there only 77 of that model made...but is it just a 3sgte 4wd with better suspension and the like?

could somone edumacte me on why there only77 of this model ???

They were only 77 brought into Australia by Toyota.

I think they had to make 5000 Worldwide to compete in the World Rally Championship. So Australia was allocated 77 of them.

The price when new in Australia was around $80,000. (That was around 1994/1995 ! ) :o :o :o

I think it was $81000 +onroads - something closer to $90 when new.

but yeah... it's so much fun to drive :D Love it! It's so cool being able to powerslide around corners - who says you can't have fun in an AWD, I find it even more fun than FWD and RWD! :D

performance? what does it put out?

is it faster than a GTi-R pulsar or an evo or sti?

i've never seen specs on these things....

Stock:

179kW, 13psi boost. 300Nm torque. 1380 or 1430kg depending on what you go by (I go by 1430 cos that makes it P-plater legal  )

0-100 in 5.9s, top speed 250+km/h for the Australian-delivered ones (apparently some guy in WA took it up to 250kmh on some deserted freeway at 2am...).

Not sure about quarter-mile times...
