Hi all,

My name is Nina, I have graciously found this site and am glad too see so many different and spectacular toyotas :)

I finally feel at home. haha

I have a '91 Celica GT4, V8 Soarer & Nissan Nx.

The celica was my second car ever and is the only one on the road at the present. Though it needs a very expensive paint job as I am the first Aussie owner (got it off the boast basically) and the paint has faded to nearly white on the roof, the bonnet & The tailgate & spoiler. Just got the off hand quote this morning... nearly 2g just for them... plus wanting to personalise it so thinking of putting a pearl over it to give it a pretty shine. money money money hey. But this is why i keep working.

The soarer is off the road, unregistered now. needs power steering pump and hose and badly needs a new interior & gearbox rebuild. I have big dreams for this car. but will be in the shed until the nissan and celica are finished.

The Nissan is a fiesty little 4cyl I am very close to getting it on the road as a daily so I can keep the Celica's kms down and not put it through the torture of going through traffic everyday. Hopefully by the end of the month.

Hey Nina and welcome! :) Best of luck with all of those projects - certainly a lot of machinery (and potential!) hanging around your yard! Keep those piccies coming :D

Only prob with this site is that i look at everyone else's rides and I so want one of everything... esp like yours Shahzan... have wanted a sprinter for a while. One day. My little brother wants one too. But QLD laws wont let him drive one haha.

      How much is a Toyota hilux grinner 1990 2xd worth

      I was told jy Toyota hilux grinner 1990 2xd was rare 10 years ago. I just read in good condition they fetch around 50,000. My car is in good condition and has service history and receipts. Can anyone tell if this is true.

      2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Had a similar issue with my 2003 Camry sedan. I'm think the mechanism might be bit stiff, so removing the door card and spraying the locking cable (the one that pushes the lock knob into the lock and unlock position on the interior door handle) with some Innox might work to loosen up the old grease and get it working again.

      2007 - floor mats

      Hi Ed, Hmm that's a tough one mate ..short of going to Toyota to get genuine and no I doubt they would laugh at you as it's a sale and money is tight right now. I am not sure if you are on Facebook or not but I have seen an advert on there for what looks like superb floor mat sets that do seem excellent quality and a wide range but like most things now they are not cheapish. My best advice is source some good quality ones and search online for someone who offers embroidery as some do tradie shirts and logos on clothing it may be worth a phone call to those sort of places as I know a local one to me does all sorts of work on many things related to embroidery or an alternative choice is the online sites like Temu... EBay etc Let us know how you get on mate good luck. KAA

      2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Gday, I've got a 2001 Camry wagon which has been having locking issues for a while now, just started occurring out of the blue. There is no fob so we manually unlock and lock from the driver side door, however the rear and front passenger doors consistently have issues. Either when we unlock one or both doors don't unlock and must be unlocked from inside the car, or when we lock it one or both don't lock and the car beeps. To fix that, we open the door, lock it from the inside, the lift up the handle and close the door before releasing the handle. That fixes the locking issue. When testing the locks from inside the car, I can see that they partially lock and unlock, so I'm wondering if they need to be replaced entirely or if there's some other way to fix it. Cheers

      2002 Hilux Engine Replacement

      I have a 2002 Hilux that is meant to have a 5le engine but i think it was replaced with a new engine with a turbo before i bought it. Its a different engine compared to what is in the manual - eg the alternator is at the bottom not the top as per the manual. The engine is seized - tried roll starting downhill and wheels just locked up. I cant find what the engine is. Any ideas on where I would find it? Also 5LE engines are hard to find - any ideas on what else i could put in? Does a 1KZ fit?
