...whats the crash box in the parts pictures???

Enlarge the picture and I can see this:

By inserting carbon fibres in the thickness direction and making it a 3D reinforced material, we drastically improved its energy absorbtion capacity.

Note: crash Box means crumple zone in...[text cut off].

DJKOR pretty much has it. It'll be a the crash structure for absorbing energy; carbon fibre does a very good job of transfering energy from a crash. Think of the big ball of carbon dust you see after a crash in the expensive racing series, thats the engery, poor explaination I know.
