Does this happen only after you have locked your car, or also when it is unlocked?

Either way.. if the car alarm is going off randomly, then that definitely sounds like a fault.

Thanks for the reply,when it's locked.It spent a day at the dealer today and they could not fault it,it's on the edge of going out of wty

Well there isn't too much that is used to set the alarm off. Could possibly be a faulty door/bonnet switch

Does the car have Microwave Movement Senors?

Try a different Dealer aswell before the warranty runs out or else you will be forking $300 per hour..

Nup. It's just your basic door open detection.
