illuminated door sills

Hey Guys

i just got my door sills and having trouble installing it. as it doesnt have the colour that are in the instruction in here ( http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2160&st=100&p=25847entry25847 )that KT_haha wrote. Would anyone know the colours that would suit the doors for 05 Corolla Sportivo.

Hey Guys

I'm having trouble with one of the doors sills ( Rear Right) as it doesnt turn off if the Both front door is open.

Any ideas guys ?

it cost me about 100bux inc postage

hey mate,

the door sills when wired up will only be on when A door is open, if the front door/s are open, then the rear sills will be on too. they are all on the same circuit. so no need to freak out, its just the way it is. :D

they look tops at night though B)

Just a note on wiring for the door sills.

Rather than using the wires running along the side of the car as in ( http://au.toyotaowne...847entry25847) that KT_haha wrote about

you might try using the connector that I identified that has the door switch connections in it.

On the 2002 Conquest wagon it is under the dash on the drivers side above the the kick panel and is strapped with tape to the wiring loom.

This shows the connector and the connections I used for the under dash LED strips that

come on when any door is open, not to dissimilar to getting the sills lit when any door is open.

Check this works OK in your car with a multimeter before connecting lights.

Hope this makes things a bit easier to get access to the door switch connections.

noice!!! i thought the chrome/red on the black stivo was not really appealing...

thanks for being the guinea pig, now i will get mine LOL :P

i think i might spend some time to paint them black :P
