Hey all,

If someone can reply quick, is there a way to reset my ECU without disconnecting the battery?

Like a fuse somewhere? (I'm unsure of which one to look for, please note me on that)

& how do I 100% KNOW that the ECU has been reset?

ECU wont re-set by removing the battery. Ive tried it. You need to go to Toyota if its a bad issue or if its simply an AFM issue wait until the car hits cold start.

So is there any way of reseting it?

Even with taking the battery out for longer than 30 minutes?

its not that simple. you cant just "reset" your ecu, you can re-programme it (IT2) at any toyota dealership. if you mean reset as in losing radio station, clock settings, hoping to loose a trouble code, disconnect battery for 60seconds.

why do you want to reset the ecu anyway?
