Hi all,

Looking around for another Rolla (want a manual again.... getting lazy in the Auto :P ) and im wondering if theres a easy way to tell the difference from looking at the compliance plate?

(i did a quick search already but must not be entering the right terms as i couldnt find a definitive answer...)

Thanks! :)

On the build plate it will either show "Toyota Australia" or "Toyota South Africa"

If you look at the vin plate the SA models start with AHT and Jap starts with J I believe. Could be wrong though..

6T are all Australian produced cars

JT are Japanese produced cars

AHT (cringe) are South African "built" cars

MRO are Thai built Hilux's
