Wow what a game for no result...now they can do it all again next week.

AFL should change this rule and play extra time...say 5mins each way,should get a result.

So what happens next week if there is another draw result? Will they replay the game the following week or do they play extra time. If they play extra time, why would you not play extra time and get a result in the first Grand Final. Totally agree with comments about playing extra time.

For the Sports Couch Potato next week is a long weekend, so there is now the AFL Replay Grand Final on Saturday followed by the NRL Grand Final on the Sunday. Dunno what's on Monday tho. Gee, lucky they moved the Bathurst 1000 to the following week.

Why all the hangups about the result? It means the people get another afternoon of great footy next weekend. Why not just allow it to be a draw?

a goalkicking contest/penalty shootout after a drawn gf wouldn't be a bad idea either-nice and quick. it's been used previously in a drawn EJ Whitten legaends game.
