Hey guys,

I want to take the corolla badge off the back and put it on the front grill.

What is the best way to do this.

Cheers,

Branno out.

use a hairdryer or heat gun (on low!) to heat the glue up on the back of the badge, then 'saw' the badge off (underneath it, where the glue is) with fishing line or dental floss.

You will need to clean the back and put a some new adhesive on it to move it to the front.

to add to what mick said...

Don't for get the eucalyptus oil to get the residue off the paint work and a buff to make it all shiny and smooth! :D

You could use an epoxy to adhere the corolla badge to the front grill too. Ive just discovered the wonderful world of "JB weld". Its seriously good epoxy, its US made, and can be found at some autobarns, supercheaps or other stores, but it is hard to find. Great for just about anything! sand-able, tap-able, machine-able.. anything!

I suggest mix it, let it set up a bit, then position on the grill, and secure with automotive masking tape till it has set. Be sure to make all surfaces clean with metho before hand.

I'll have a look on eBay, might be able to get some cheap.

I can't decide whether to put the ascent badge or the corolla badge on the front, decisions decisions.

Just had a peek on eBay, can pick some up for $20, I have a mate who works at supercheap who can get discount, so I'll ask him if they have any. Thanks heaps, still cant decide which badge to put on the front ;(

Its the euro-spec TTE front lip. Got Shinobi's old front lip, hes got the TRD front lip now. Nice and subtle.
