hey guys,

today when i was driving home from work i was listening to my music at volume that i would usually listen to i took a turn and then my speakers just turned off or something but my sub was still on.

When i got home i checked if everything was connected and it was. The amp that was running my speakers had power going into it but it still didnt work?.

Then just now checked it out again neither of my amps work now? does anyone know whats wrong with it? it was fairly hot today in melbourne when i touched the amp it was quite warm if that has anything to do with it.

Must be the fuse on the amp or on the main (red+) power cable

i checked the fuse for the amps they look alright.

is there any possibility that theres something wrong with the amp or speakers?

Just checked it all again theres power running to my sub amp and speaker amp.

but the speakers are still not playing anything.

sounds like a pair of speaker wires are crossed up , some units have an inbuilt cutout where they will either switch off when theres a short , blow one of the fuses ( either on the rear of the deck or in the fuse box ) or it will still appear to be all good but give off no sound. make sure all the speaker wires are separate and individually sealed with tape or shrink wrap.

Still no luck :( .

while i was driving today i heard a popping noise coming from my front right speaker it wasnt the tweeter.

also last night i heard very feint music coming from my back speakers.

anyone would have a clue whats wrong?

alrighty guys. tried new things.

i got a spare amp and decided to test if it was my amp that was the problem.

So i hooked it up testing 1 speaker at a time i put the volume up at how normally i would listen to my music.

there was music coming out of it but it wasnt as loud as it use to be.

also when i tested my splits there was no music coming from my tweeters?

hope this info helps .
