2006 EVO IX

The new evo 9 will have 3 models, RS, GSR, GT and MR. This time only the MR will come with the 6-speed box.

The latest evolution of the 4g63 engine will give 213kW, while the GSR has 400Nm and the RS/GT/MR models have 407Nm.

The new GT model has the comforts of the GSR and the turbo from the RS

Interesting to note that its recommended to run on 98RON, I wonder if Mitsubishi Australia will detune it cos of our low octane fuel

What a car, the ultimate track weapon and BFYB! How much it's gonna cost in Oz though, if its priced similar to the EVO8 i know some people that will sell their house or even their grandma for it! I think its tuned to run on 98RON because of the UK and US markets.

i would seriously love one of these evos so i can drive side by side with a normal lancer and show them what a real lancer should be like. sheesh, i hate lancer drivers... i hate that car!!! except for the evo hehehe :D :D :D

I agree, prancers are so annoying. The best ones have evo body kits on them and they then think they are just as fast as an evo

Im not certain, but i've read that it might be a little bit cheaper then the 8 when it goes on sale and they will be briging in more then 100 a year.
