So as you may or may not no, project 5SGTE (in its current form) is offically dead.

While it is very sad, the one good thing to come out of it is that my friend kevin offered to sell me his ST185 GT4 for a very low price, and very flexible payment terms...

So I have taken him up on that offer so here she is;

I am currently in the process of swapping all of the 'better' bits from the ST184 over to the GT4.

Here are the specs;

1990 ST185 JDM Celica Gt4 Narrowbody

3SGTE rebuilt with forged +1mm ACL pistons

HKS FCON V Fuel/Ignition Controler

Golpher Aluminium Radiator

Front Mount Intercooler

eBay high flow dump pipe

Blitz Nur Spec exhaust

HKS SSQV Black

Kings Low springs

KYB Struts

Zeitronix ZT2 WBO2

Wedsport RS5 17x7 Wheels

The paint work is pretty had, and the interior needs a good cleanup but mechanically it is in quite good condition.

I will be replacing the front and rear bars with the ones off my car, and this may even get a full respray.

the turbo seals were completely and utterly stuffed. New turbo is on it now lol

I'm not sure about the plates, they will stay on there for the moment but I would assume kev will keep them.

Quick Question with a basic turbo setup and few extras for exampe exhaust system headers, Front mount boosted, what do they usually run in a quarter mile.

I had a go with one down the humehighway i thought he was going to leave me dead behind but my stivo ended up infront.

Not sure what they do down the quarter, but they arent fast cars.

I would has at a guess that this would do low 15s-high 14s.

A stock one would be on the upper end of 15s.

Their problem is that they are quite heavy (~1500kg), are awd and don't have much power from the factory (150kw @ flywheel)

As sad as I am about relinquishing ownership of it, Im comforted by the fact that it wont (intentionally) go over gutters and round abouts and over small trees like the hilux :P
