White/Grey Smoke

Hi All,

Haven't had many posts just had my sportivo for a solid 3-4 months loved every second of it.

Just had its big 80000km service, Claimed it was in perfect condition never been thrashed it was owned by a older women.

The Car is running Synthetic oil, basically when i give it a rev nothing no smoke never just after 2-3 days of not giving it a rev once lift kicks in a little stream of whitish grey smoke pops out.. but when idle if revved to 6-7k nothing? any idea's or is it probs just carbon build up or unburnt fuel.. it only seems to do it the first time .. after nothing.

could be condensation in the muffler,

white smoke is usually coolant or water. could be condensation in the muffler, or could be something much worse (e.g blown head gasket)

is the car over heating at all?

nah mate not at all she is cool as, as i said big service my uncle owns a car yard had it all checked was beautiful is it just unburnt fuel or carbon build up?

I bought my sportivo from a old lady claiming same thing, mine did a few smoke only in lift but i was guessing because lift wasnt used much, but after the drive home from buying the car i bought it in newcastle and live in sydney so all highway drive i did give it a bit of grunt thru gears and it smoked for a little by the end of the drive it was gone.

mate i rev it literally once a week to 7-8k i don't drive the car that hard. + its 5000km oil change and oil filter. always.
