Low beam seems like high beam

Hey ppl ...

Just want to ask those that have the face-lift Corolla.. are your lights directed upwards? Like when you're driving at night do your light shine brightly into the car in front's mirror back onto the driver's face..?

Got the car back from the repairer a few days ago as mum had a little accident.. and I've been driving at night tonight and last night.. and noticed that the headlights shine (low intensity) towards the top of a van... ! I turned high beam on and there was not much difference. .?

Should I get in there and change the angle ? Anyone experience this before ?

There should be a screw on the lamp assembly for adjusting the pitch.

At the plant they manually adjust the camry's to the spec before they leave. I'm assuming the rolla has the same adjuster.

yeah i dont know about my low beams being heaps bright BUT when i turn on my high beams there doesnt seem to be much difference between them at all

i might bring this up when i go fr my 10,000 warranty service

but thats still 6000kms away LOL

lol .. nothing in the boot.. except for the spare tire and all those tools..

two people in the front and thats it..

anyone got a guide on how to change the angle of projection of the lights ??

or should i bring it up at the next service ?

really if you think about it, its not affecting you jus the people in front LOL so i would just leave it

yeah true.. but i care about other drivers too ... i also get annoyed if someone else's lights are too bright ... so yeah ... it may also cause an accident if they can't see anything else because the light shining into their eyes are too bright ...

There was a service manual somewhere in this forum. There were some instructions on adjusting the headlights.

Try to do a search for the service manual. Try "service manual" as the keyword, maybe. :)
