Hi,

I saw this cleaner on Amazon made by 3M which seemed to have good reviews

(I love 3M stuff, such good products)

Is there something equivalent I can buy here in Australia?

Thanks

Christian

The Viking got me onto fuel doctor and I must say I am very impressed.

Have been driving my brother's 02 Focus and it's manners are a little unpolished. Idle was rough, idle in neutral was very rough and the engine as a whole was pretty tired. Gave it a shock treatment of Fuel Doctor and the rough idling has decreased signifcantly and acceleration is abit smoother. She's still in need of some TLC but Fuel Doctor definitely worked for this little beast.

Using petrol with cleaning agents in them suck as Shell V power or BP ultimate will also clean your injectors.

i just added a bottle of Fuel Doctor to my tank and wow i'm impressed! already its quieter idling. I can't wait to see what it's like when the whole tank has been run through.

I'm gonna do like the bottle says and do 2 shock treatments cos my car is over 100k. Wonder if that'll make a difference. Still, worth trying at only $15 a bottle.

You normally dont notice a difference after a few 100 kms.

Still, aslong as your happy with it :)

Anyone who puts an fuel injector cleaner adaptive into their tank and claims immediate changes is definitely experiencing the placebo effect. These things usually take about the entire tank before you start noticing any real changes. This is essentially what Ronnyboy meant.

No one here keen on using a bit of kerosene or methanol poured in the fuel tank? Most of us have some lying around at home.
