Hey Guys,

New to the supra scene and the forum. Im looking to deck out the boot with 3 subs and a few amps and im struggling to find and come up with ideas. I know that its going to have to be fiber glass just so i can mould it the way i want it so if you guys have some photos out there to give me an idea of what i can do it would be appreciated.

Also im looking to get my supra resprayed (in and out job)i know its a massive job but it was imported with a 4 layer yellow pearl essence lead based paint and the 2 front guards and side skirts have been damaged, i got new side skirts but the panel beaters up here cant match the paint the best they got was a canary yellow :S so i was wondering if anyone knew of a place in Melbourne that does good paint jobs that wont charge me an arm and a leg reson being is bec ause im in shepparton and these guys want to charge me $15000 - $17000!! Most of the Paint & Panel joints wont touch imports so any suggestions would be extremly appreciated.

Hey!

@kenshin x: I really don't know Much about the paint job that's on it at the moment because the guy I bought it off seemed like he didn't care for the car at all. All he could tell me is that the paint was a "lead based 4 layer yellow pearl essence" and that it was imported this way? Any way...

@jeffy: I'm not looking to get a 4 layer pearl done I'm just looking to get a respray done with a paint that has a paint code lol because the paint that's on it can't be matched (apparently) and yeah I'm looking to get the engine bay done as well. I'm goin to buy a new body kit for it because at the moment its a cross between: stock front bumper (the previous owner thought he would spray it himself and now it's a faded yellow because he ran out of paint half way through), bomex side skirts (that are a completly different colour to the car) and vielside mud guards and rear bumper so it has been neglected in a big way and I'm just trying to get this beast looking sexy again!

Don't worry about the paint code, different panel beaters use different paint codes, and sometimes don't even follow the factory one, the code is there for a guide, as kenshin mentioned, ppg type, is a type of unit that mixes paint, soo depending on the beater, some can colour match, by having a keen eye, and experience,

Ah awesome! I wouldn't mind keeping the car yellow I mean at first i didn't really like it but it has grown on me lol. It doesn't have to be a pearl, just something different I guess
