Hi guys..

I'm looking to get a ECU for my sporitivo to be combined with cat back exhaust, TRD / AEM CAI and Flywheel clutch combo, Thats about as far as I'll

go with engine modifications.

In saying that what would be the best ECU, for running smooth and gaining good power.

I spoke to danz on the forum at the last meet and he recommended meridian motorsport for 2zz-ge modifications and they really do know the 2zz-ge inside and out. They sell fully mapped 2zz-ge Power FC for $1750 with hand controller.

I'm also looking at Unichip as a possibility as its priced well and proven to be good for once off modications that dont require re-tuning.

I know that there is a big difference in price, just want recommendations from peoples experience and knowledge. thanks.

you buy car specific when you buy power fc. So buy the one for celica, ZZT series, 99 model up, if u have 2zz-ge. They told me the celica power fc is perfect fit, plug and play.

By the way, if $1750 is incluyding tuning and fitting, that is a mad deal.

haha $1750 is a good deal

but for a poor uni boy like me

i have to starve for a month

no social life for a while

only drive to work and uni

and maybe, in about 6-7months

ill either be dead, or have the fc fitted hahaha

you would want to get either of these after you have done CAI, Flywheel and Full exhaust (both cat back and headders)

yep! will do.

Install is pretty easy as its plug n play!

I think they are reluctant for you to bring a product for them to install if they stock it, thats what I was told. IE, they sell Fidanza flywheels etc.

No. You just tell them you want them to tune it. Other than selling products, they provide service and that's exactly what you want. So bring your own Power FC and let them tune it man.

By the way, is $1750 including tuning or no?

if we are talking about the ones from meridian, they come with a base tune (this is nor the stock tune) so its better, but its not tuned to suit your car...

screw that, may aswell buy from ebay and tell them to tune it .

Yeh thats right doesn't include tune, 1750 is for fc only,

he charges $88 per/h
