yep definetly 3A racing pod, its relatively cheap and won the pod filter shootout, there is an article on google about it. as for the hoses, you will need a 45 degree hose for the throttle body, im sure you can find them on ebay aswell

Yup that's correct, there was a magazine that did a pod filter shoot out and the 3A pod had the best flow and the second best filtration, K&N had the best filtration Ofco****. So my next pod is going to be the 3A :D have a look on their website, the article is on there somewhere

I'd take that comparison with a grain of salt. Firstly, it was at least 5 years ago (I've seen it as long as I've been posting on car forums) so there is a very good chance that all the filters in the test have changed since then (what company doesn't improve it's product over 5 years?), it wasn't a terribly scientific test, and it could quite easily have been skewed towards a particular product (anyone who's read the Street Commodores oil comparison will know what I'm talking about).

That's true it was quite a few years ago and products would have been refined, I'm just going off what I read in that article and if it works ok I'm fine with that

Probably went well up top, but like a dog down low. Restrictions in the intake tend to improve low-down torque at the expense of top-end power and breathing. And technically there is no such thing as too much flow in an intake - the engine draws in as much air as it needs, unless you are physically forcing extra air in (either via a turbo, supercharger or a proper ram-air setup) you can't "saturate" the engine. A big-enough restriction can prevent the engine from drawing enough air in, however.

You'll need either a 45 degree or 90 degree silicone elbow that is 2.75" and cut it accordingly. One that connects to the intake manifold and TRD cai and the other to the TRD cai and pod filter. Depending on how big your pod filter connection end is, you will need to get an elbow reducer (i.e 3" to 2.75").

Did I read that correctly ? I eBay'd 3a pods and their only 34$ ? And they claim to be better flowin & filtering..? Yay or nay ?

Here you go.

anyone else finding their maf sensor getting dirty?

Nope. You can always spray it with PC contact cleaner. Let it air dry in the shade prior to refitting
