Hi Guys,

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question but my car didn't come with a manual book so i have troubles understanding how to use my CD player.

My problem is, when i want to change the disc, i have to select one disc at a time. e.g. if im in disc 1 and want to to go disc 5. I basically have to select the next disc which is 2, wait for it to load and then continue on until disc 5 is reached. Is there a way i can just jump straight from disc 1 through to disc 5 without constantly seeking through disc and waiting for it to load ?

I have a corolla also, but i can easily change the discs around without having to jump through each individual CD's.

* My CD player is the normal Aurion SX6 player with a reverse camera (if that helps)

Any advice is much appreciated !

im pretty sure you just push the button til you arrive at the disc you want.

i.e your player is on disc 1 , you hit the buttons several times til it says disc 5, then you just wait the it switches directly from 1 to 5.

my player is like that , so i see why it wouldnt be the same .

Hi bidvan,

Thanks fro the response. yeah i tried that as well however once i press the button to change disc, the screen goes blank and i cant select the number in which the disc i want. It only changes one disc even when i press it multiple times.

hmm that is odd , unless they have changed it in the '10+ models. i have an '07 camry , maybe they changed it ? can any other aurion/camry members confirm this ?

I have exactly the same unit as yours with the reverse camera. DJKOR is right. It is poorly designed that is why I use my iphone to play my music now via bluetooth. Forget the 6 CD stacker. Those day are over. Just use a Mp3 player with bluetooth connection.

Plus I hated the sound when the CD changes to the next.

Your unit is perfectly fine, its just a bad CD player :(. Mp3 FTW!!!!

Thanks guys for your response,

Guess its just a bad design after all and there's nothing wrong with my unit haha.
