Hey all,

I picked up my 07 Aurion prodigy yesterday, and I would like some input from other owners about a couple of things.

1- I have a dash cam (Blackvue DR400G-HD) and I would like to hardwire it in, so when the car is off, the camera runs off the car battery.

In my old car I had the camera behind the rear view mirror, and the cord running along the top of the windscreen, then tucked away behind the plastic of the A pillar, then into my glove box where the switch was. Then the wires went from the switch, through my dash, and into the fuse box, where I wired it up to the brake light fuse, as there is always power going into that fuse.

can anyone recommend a way to wire this into my Aurion? How can I tuck the cords away, and then wire it into a constant power source?

Also, My drivers seat electric lumbar doesn't inflate.

It just clicks, and it sounds like the teeth are not catching or something.

I will be taking it back to CMI toyota, for them to fix under warranty, but has anyone else had this issue?

thanks in advance!

Alex

Also, is there a way to reset the trip computer? eg the evg fuel consumption?

When I got the car, it was at 23L / 100 due to sitting in dealer yard.

The average fuel display will automatically reset once the tank gets towards empty and gets filled up again, theres no manual reset option available. Plus, that figure should go down once you start driving around a bit. After filling up my Aurion, the display will often read ridiculous figures like 44L/100km, but as I said, that goes down to a more realistic figure once you drive around a bit :)

Hey mate.

I ended up taking it back to the Toyota Dealer that I bought it from, and he replaced the broken part.

If I recall correctly, the teeth were broken on the motor or something..

All under warranty.

Thanks for the reply mate. I might have to take it back to where i brought it from and get them to look or fix it.

Hi,

My car is far out of warranty, I accepted living with driver-side lumbar electric mechanism not inflating/tightening, but recently passenger-side seat followed suit and the wife is not happy.

Curious if anyone has attempted to repair the electric lumbar support in Presara seats themselves? Unsure of complexity/difficulty given the leather seats, side air bags, not to mention cost of parts likely to be the culprit.

Thanks.

My driver side lumbar stopped working as well. Doesn't make any sound at all. Just doesn't work
