Hey all,

Just wanted to know who has actually done a dyno test on their TRD Aurion. I am interested to see as i recently did it and got ok results.

My TRD has the following:

-custom headers

-custom exhaust

-cold air intake

-proper tune with an aftermarket chip

At my dyno test, i got 209.5 kw at the wheels.

I am just wondering if anyone else has done it and how close they actually got to the 241kw at the flywheel.

Thanks guys :-)

I recorded it with my slr so i have to reduce the quality because it wont let me upload something that big in size

Please elaborate on the "aftermarket chip". ASAIK there were no chips/tunes for the Aurion ECU, the best you could get is a piggyback ECU in conjunction with the factory ECU

VIPZR6,

Uploading video soon. I was asked by people previously to post up the result. I am not here for bragging rights buddy

Steven,

It is a piggy back system

Works well

What header setup are you running and where did you source it?

A piggyback ECU with those mods and a custom tune sounds right for the gain you achieved. Not a huge lot compared to other vehicles out there due the already high state of tune the Aurion comes with, but I'm sure it would have had positive effect in how it drives too.

Hi Ninos, who did the headers/exhaust work? Also what sort of piggyback are you running? I was looking at doing very similar mods to my car a couple of months ago but was led to believe that headers were not available in Australia. I've been told that a piggyback is the only way to "tune" the ecu but I don't understand enough about them to decide if it's woth doing or not. Any info you can provide to steer me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks.
