CAI for Aurion - Help

I removed my CAI off my aurion because the guy that installed it didn't do a good job an I was losing power.

I bought a new K&N intake. Does anyone know anyone that knows how to install these without paying big money ?

I tried autobarn but they charge to much

My K&N came with instructions and pictures on how to do it yourself. Was pretty simple to follow and took me just over an hour to do. Ill look for them when I get home. If you don't want to do it yourself though I'm sure any mechanic would be able to do it cheaper then autobarn

Mine came with instructions too. I'm just hopeless at these stuff. Needa find a good mechanic

Bring it over this weekend Rebs, takes about 20 mins max do it when we add the resistors/

im also thinking of doin a CAI on my aurion any suggestions would help where to put the pod etc

I'm sure if you ask one of the regular QLD guys they'd be more than willing to give you a hand. Very straight forward take around 20 mins all up.

These are very easy to install yourself, the only thing one has to think about is putting the vaccuum hoses round the right way.

      UHF Antenna mount for 2017 Kluger?!?!

      Hey all! Recently upgraded from a 2009 Kluger Grande to a 2017 Kluger GXL... the 2009 was decked out with a round chrome nudge bar and all, making it easy to mount a UHF antenna up front! But, this newer model I have gone with the OEM Toyota nudge bar that I really like the sleeker look of, but it does not give me anywhere to mount a UHF antenna, and even more so, I cannot seem to find any bonnet hinge mounts for this year model available online! Not really wanting to go with any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated! Cheers!

      Tyre tread damage

      Hi, My take is that your alignment is way off, despite what the tyre guy says. Find another shop, or go to a Toyota dealer. I had this happen, years ago, with my little Honda Scamp. Tyre guy set the toe to his "standard" 3 deg toe in. The car was a front wheel drive, spec was toe out 3deg, and yes, the tyres wore very quickyl. Herb

      Prado veggie oil

      Correction: The power for the pump comes from the engine ignition 12v distribution in the engine bay fuse box. I will take a photo of it tomorrow and post it here in case anyone else wants to use +12V with Ign ON. Tony

      Tyre tread damage

      Hey legends, I need some help here. My tyres gets wore out really quickly for some reason. Fitted 2 new tyres for the front Augest last year and was told today its gone (driven less than 4000km). The rear tyres are even worse. Ever since I got a wheel alignment done last year, the car seems to wobble left and right for 0.5/1 sec every time I drive passed small uneven surface on the road (rear wheels). Went back to the tyre shop and the guy double checked again. He said everything was fine. If it happens again after a week also, I might need to see my mechanic, as it could be a suspension issues. Anyone experienced similar problems? Any help would be appreciated . Thanks! (The photos are both front tyres after less than 4000km of normal driving)

      2005 Camry AC controller Lights not working

      Hi Guys, I needed help regarding my 2005 camry sportivo 2.4 liter. It has the manual type ac controls and I am having trouble trying to get the back lights working. I was able to pry open the controller but it does not come all the way out and has what looks like hot and cold damper shafts attached to it at the back. So I pryed open the front cover of it to gain access to the globes. They don't seem damaged but won't turn on.

      2009 Kluger white smoke

      In my knowledge base, white smoke means that water ( coolant) is getting in there. Oil issues usually create blueish smoke. Herb
