Bangtown

Recommended Posts

Okay guys I'm nearly metal on metal now. Just ordered some slotted rotors.

I am after so info on experience with different brake pads

Bendix is a givin but what else is out there?

Keeping in mind I do a lot of country driving but probably will just be a town car when the coils go in.

So any experiences good or bad would be great to here about

Thanks in advance

Drew

On my next service will get Toyota to replace the stock pads with QFM HPX's from gslrally sport, $79 a pad

Used Bendix Heavy Duty's, good pads compared to stock but too much brake dust for me, and somewhere on this forum they say the QFM HPX's have less brake dust and good performance

Hi Drew

Last time i was replacing my front pads, I went for Bendix Heavy duty (about 140 for the front set). I wasn't very happy. Brown redish dust, which looks bad, noisy, and felt very crude. I bought a new car, well.... same car, ZR6 just younger, that has stock pads, and they are much better.
