Trading in 03 Corolla for 05 Sportivo

Recommended Posts

I’m seriously thinking of trading in my 03 Corolla Seca for an 05 Sportivo, but after reading reviews and comments am unsure if it will suit my needs.

When driving at low revs, is there a significant / large power increase or is it similar to the normal vvti corolla until your @ high revs?, also is the handling significantly better?

Also are the standard speakers in the Sportivo better than the normal ascent/conquest models?

Sportivo should perform similar to Ascent/Conquest/Levin below 6000rpm.

Sportivo has firmer dampers so the handling is a little more composed but not much different

Sportivo like the Levin has a six speaker sound system, so it has two additional tweeters at the front, so it should sound a little better.

Could be just the 05 models, but the Acsents and Conuests have 6 speakers as well.

AFAIK, they all use the same speakers.

I'm also thinking of trading in my Conquest for a Sportivo..

Depending on how much repayments will be... :(

Edit: According to Redbook.com.au

What's the difference between the 2 Sportivos?

take a test drive

the speakers on the 05 may differ to the 03. but whether ascent/conquest or sportivo they would use the same speakers. just that the different year they may have changed the speakers.
