Hey I'm just seeing what people think about what rims I should have on my car.

I have a 2011 at-x, I have already put zr6 sportivo rims on which I think looks nice and clean however I have found some rims which I also like but don't know if they will look good on my car.

I will lower my car but only when I know which rims will suit it more.

Also my brother reckons I should get the sportivo rims sprayed black and lower it, what's people thoughts of this or should I keep it the standard silver colour?

Take into consideration I have chrome handles, VIP grill and skirts soo yeah not too sure.

I have attached photos to show my car and rims I may/may not get.

Thanks in advance Alex :)

I bought my first set of aftermarket wheels shortly after i bought my car in june. So i went from the factory 17X7 size to 18x8. It was a fairly conservative size upwards and if i was out of warranty id probably wanna go for something like 18x9 or 9.5 as i prefer the fat wheel look.

Factory wheels are ok and can look even better painted... if i was going that route id wanna get em stripped and powder coated rather than just a plastidip. However a nice set of aftermarket wheels will almost always look better - assuming the wheels arent anything too obnoxious or anything.

A chrome and black wheel would probably go nice, as youve said you have a fair bit of chrome trim.

How much are you looking at paying for the OX wheels?

I've bargained the guy down to $600 and he's agreed to the price so yeah.

That's with tyres answell :)

They are second hand however he did tell me he brought them for his car and they didn't fit so he's selling them, and says he has the receipt.. Wouldn't a normal person return them?

Soo I'm going to look at them Sunday and see if they are as good as he says and make sure they aren't buckled or cracked.

Are these the same rims advertised on tocau over the last week or so? If so and they are as UIK described them, you got a sweet deal man. Will look great with your chrome trim. Just wish I had the balls to roll 19s on the sh!t roads round here or I would have bought them.

Yeah I seen them in a couple post before, but yeah I think I'm gonna buy these rims then lower it!

Should look pretty sweet :)

I am keen on a trade for my Advanti rims anyone likes my rims ;D for a little bit extra cash hehe? The reason I am trading in my Aurion in August and I dont want the dealers to have these rims cus they are too good for them and their ****ty deal with me on my 86.

They are 17' Medusa II matte black with a bit of machined silver. They come with Bridgestone Potenza RE002 245/35/17.

Message me if anyone is interested ;). Oh I am situated in Brisbane. You can check my wheels on the Aurion photo gallery.
