how much difference in power does it make changing the exhaust from cat back or is it for a better sound

power wise nothing much, just sounds good with the vvti kicks in

i found removing a few of the 6 cats gave me better performance e.t time 14.7 to a 14.3 but could have been other factors & fuel eco

weight reduction would be easyer if your after e.t times, power wise im sure a motec or haltech ecu would be the way besides s/c or turboing

I was quoted $420 for basically the same setup at Muffler Mad(Browns Plains)
