Thank you for taking the time to reply trentmeyer23, much appreciated.

Hmm ! Not the advice I wanted to hear really, ha ! Someone told me it would be an £800 + vat job here in the UK by a Toyota Dealer !!! Can get a replacement 'motor for around £20 . . . lot of labour then !

Think I'll DIY it myself . . . by using a sponge and dry cloth in the mornings, ha ! The heat gets through the vents fairly quickly when on the move and keeps the 'screen clear - with the side window open a bit too.
