Hey guys,

I have a 2011 Aurion sportivo ZR6 which I got last year.. have noticed the front bumper to sit quite low, does anyone else have any issues with it scraping going down driveways and when parking infront of gutters?

Scraped it the other night coming into my driveway, scratched down to black plastic, and since I'm so ocd with things being nice and neat it's frustrating me haha.

Interested to hear your thoughts.. cheers

You're not the only one. I occasionally end up scraping my stock Touring (non-Sportivo) bumper on very steep driveways. That's even with entirely stock height. Thankfully it's never something too severe but it certainly would be worse on the Sportivo.

Hope you guys never lower your cars lol

The key is to angle it up the driveway, not go straight for it like i see most people do

Lowered my 2011 Sportivo Sx6, worst decision ever, just have to angle it well

did you lower it with lowered springs or coilovers?

We need air suspension so we can raise them when we need too.

I lowered my sportivo with Pedders and I have 19s on it and mine very rarely scrapes. I've still got bit of clearance between the tyre and the fender

Haha yeah I don't want to jack it up that much haha. Just about 2 inches or so to be able to get up odd drive ways in the outback and roads that requires a bit of extra clearance.

My driveway is a bit of a pain unfortunately - don't have the issue on many others.

Slow and angled does work, road I live on is quite busy, and there are some very impatient people out there haha, but I'd rather not scrape, so they can wait lol

I've got my aurion on coilovers which looks sick but is far from practical!! I scrape my front bar daily, aswell as the exhaust running underneath the car on most speed bumps, but hey we do this stuff because it looks 200 times better lowered haha
