Okay before all of use say this has been answered before I get it.

I have a 2012 toyota sx6 and I was wondering is there a bolt on for my car. If not any tips would be great.

If I have to go custom what should I get and how much.I was planning to get a 2.5" high flow catback stainless steel. I would like to get mandrel bent but might cost a bit much as I am a p plater.

What muffler should I get so I can reduce drone.

Located Brisbane North

Cheers

I know of a good place at Slacks Creek. However, since you are on the north side, it probably won't help you, unless you are willing to travel.

Thanks Jason I will have a look at that.

I don't mind traveling Trent.

Do you know what type of rear muffler I should get.

I want something loud but not deep and doesn't drone.

I am not an exhaust specialist, but the Magnaflow stuff is very good.

twin exhaust

this is what I have on mine, but the 2 1/2 cannons that are bolted on ( not in this image) are being removed giving The Maroon Monster a bit of a bark.

Thanks everyone... sorry for the late reply been away.

I think i might just get either a muffler delete or put in 2 xforce varex mufflers.

Does anyone know if you get any drone with muffler delete?

I did the muffler delete on mine, 2 " pipes not mandrel bent. Drone was annoying, vibrated all through the interior, coins in the center console would rattle, I ended up bolting the factory units back on.

thats mainly where the revs are on the highway

1950 is around cruising at 120km/h

In the Northern Territory, of course.

I did muffler delete and mine sounds good. The guy who did it for me warned me that another guy with an Aurion did the same a few weeks back and it sounded really loud and really bad, so he was surprised mine came out sounding completely different. Guy charges me $50 to do it, so you might as well give it a go. If you're in Melbourne PM I'll send you his details.

The experiment I have at the moment is that the system is a full twin exhaust, I have had one cannon muffler removed and it has a cackly bark when stomped on from the straight pipe bank, the only downside is a momentary fluffy sound approaching idol. Will wait until I get the other side matched up before deciding if it needs any more mufflers, and choice of tips.

Drive it around for a week and make a decision. If you're not happy with it after a week, try your other options. I hope you get some good sound from those pipes
