Blowers and Aircon lacklustre

Hi, more from my newly delivered Hilux........ The blowers are hardly blowing when on full, and the aircon is simply poor.

Before I take to a garage I was thinking of checking a few basics, like:

Air FIlter and determine if there is any blockage/resistance in the air supply?

The Fan Impellor for damage and not being able to deliver the duty required?

Q. How can I check if the Aircon Gas needs recharging?

An authorised service agent will be able to check the A/C gas for you. It's not a DIY unless you have an A/C manifold gauge set.

To check the blower fan correctly, you will need to pull it out of the dash, unless you have and endoscope or similar.

I have replaced the cabin air filter in my Aurion.

Air duct was full of leaves etc which I removed by hand and then used a vacum cleaner. I missed a gum nut which fell down into the fan blower. 

Resultant noise did not go away so I finally worked out how to remove the blower out and get rid of that offending object.

In hindsight, should have used a cloth to block off the entrance to the blower before starting to remove the rubbish in the air duct.
