Hi All,

I am a new forum member, I have an elderly neighbour I am trying to assist, her husband recently passed away leaving her with an '86 Toyota Corona, with a carburettor equipped engine.

(I think it is a 2SC engine.)

She wishes to get the car running, but from what I can see it has not been serviced in about a decade.

I am trying to get a copy of a workshop manual in pdf format if any one has one, obviously the old dear has no money, I have tried the local library and online with no luck.

( I am working for cups of tea and scones so I don't want to spend a fortune ! )

I have fuel, but no spark ? tried all the usual, cleaned distributor etc.

If you have a multimeter:

Do you have voltage coming into or spark going out(don't test this with a multimeter) of the coil at all?
