Actually Vero isnt a part of Westpac, its a company Westpac use as they dont provide that type of general insurance.

Vero is actually part of the Promina Group who also owns AAMI/Justcars

On another note, just wondering im currently with NRMA, and contemplating moving to JustCars, is there anything I should be aware of with Justcars?

(Just cars is about $500 cheaper per annum than NRMA, but NRMA has an excess of $500, and Justcars has an excess of $600).

Try Suncorp they worked for me and replace the car if under 2 years old and written off.

I was with National (HIH) and got my money on a 3 month old Golf write off 1 week before they collapsed

Tried them

Allianz

CGU

NRMA

AAMI

GIO

SunCorp

Shannons

RACQ

Justcars.

So far Justcars is the cheapest, its more expensive to insure a 2003 corolla than a 2006 corolla (and the 2003 corolla is insured for less... any idea why?)

i tried getting an online quote from allianz not long ago.

im 25/m/western syd... corolla conquest...

when the question of mods (engine/suspension/tyres) came up...

if you have done anything to these... they wont insure you. simple az that.

i really havent done anything serious to my car as yet, but when i do, i will be glad im not with allianz!

btw im with AAMI and they are giving me $1149 this year...last year it was around $1239 +/- .

can any1 in Western Sydney recommend a better insurance company?

WTF?

Mines a 2003 corolla and everyone else (other than Justcars) wanted 1600+ for it!!!

And I live in the Canterbury/Campsie area.... (How can that be more expensive than Western Sydney  )
