Hey all,

I'm lucky enough to have a silver/ black Koba on the way. I thought I saw somewhere on the Toyota site that they come with "privacy glass" on the back and side windows, and can't remember what they looked like in the yard.

According to any of you owners, will I need to book an appointment in with Tint-A-Car?

I picked up my black n white Diamond today (Thursday).

I ordered tint for the front windows and it was done at the dealership. You shouldn't have to arrange anything. The privacy glass is part of the Koba spec

You'll love it.

The rear windows privacy tint is very dark. If you put anything on top of it it'll likely go beyond what's legal.

If i remember correctly the privacy glass is not a full tint as such.  It does not have the full range of sun blocking.  I'm pretty sure with the tinting I had done the dealership put a clear film over the privacy glass to give it the same properties as the tint.

I didn't bother paying for extra tint, the factory coloured glass works well enough for me, day and night in the city and the country, sunshine and rain.
