Dash/Instrument lighting

Hi All,

Just picked up a 2nd hand 2000 Avalon for $1500 - got a bargain - apart from a slow sump leak (fixed) and two bald tires... I love the car! (my first Toyota)

So - the only real issue I have - interior lighting is DIM... the roof light is dull, but I have a 30mm LED festoon globe coming for that...
And so are the dash lights - now THESE I don't know how to change? is it worth the effort? what sort of lights are in there?
They're not really dim, just lower than I'm used to (Commodore owner) - I guess the dimmer potentiometer could be the issue?

After any advice!

Cheers,
Richard
