Engine Cost for Sportvito SX6 2007
Looks like they are widely available for ~$2500 probably cheaper if you look around. Issue with selling to a wreckers is they have to store the parts until they eventually sell and they want profit on top of that so aren't likely to offer the actual value. I'd personally ask for $2000 for the entire thing and hope they meet half way. Could make a lot more money from it if you had patience and space to part it out yourself but most would just want to get it over and done with. Says you're not in Australia so parts demand may be lower too so that's one thing to factor into their offer. -

Engine Cost for Sportvito SX6 2007
Unfournately, my beloved Aurion was recently involved in a crash and it is a complete write off, due to the extensive frontal damage and the steering being inoperable. So I am after quotes from wreckers and one has recently just gotten back to me asking "how much do I want for it" The engine is still in working condition has about 190,000kmh. Generally write offs go for about $500-1000 but was wondering if the engine cost could get me more. I don't wanna get ripped off, but at the same time I don't want to get laughed off. So what would be a reasonable price to ask for? -

1990 Seca Backfiring - Carby and Fuel Pump Overhaul Required
Hi There, my AE92 Seca has been backfiring when I back off the revs and I finally took it to my mechanic who said it would need a carby and fuel pump overhaul as it's drawing too much fuel and this is causing a leak (and the backfiring). He's not able to do the job himself and suggested I try looking online for suggestions as to who might do this kind of work in or near Brisbane. Well here I am!!! Hit me. (Car is in otherwise fantastic condition and I would like to keep it well maintained) -

i will also add that the amount of grease on the gears etc above the actuator was way more than required and in the heat of summer was 1000% the cause of the gummy servo motor as it would spin off the main drive gear as the worm gear engaged in the heat of the day the drip down the hot servo armature. wipe some of it off if you happen to disassemble the gearbox BUT be strictly aware of how you pull it apart as there are spacers that need to go back the same way on the gears. -

Hi guys ive been thru this before. Hilux vigo 3.0 d4d 2008 automatic
Hi guy's Need some help I have hilux vigo 3.0 d4d automatic 2008 If i start car it shut off after 5 a 10 sec If i bypass starter relay in relay bay car stay's on ( only if i remove quikly starter relay on relay bay) But if i drive above 30 -40 km car shut off Every time that car shutt off i have to rest the car for starting again Sequrity led stay's on it doesn't matter if key is in key barrel or not Behind dash there is a tvssv box if i disconnet this than led start flashing if i put key in barrel led goes off Scan car no trouble codes Can anybody help me with some info -

Driver side master control only half working
Hi, my 2022 Corolla Hatch SE driver side master control is having issues. The driver side window button works, but all passenger windows buttons do not. All passenger windows work when using the button on their respective door. The wing mirror folding buttons work and the positioning joystick both work. The lock/unlock buttons do not work and neither does the passenger window lock/unlock button (doesn't light up). Anyone had this issue before? Is there a fuse that would be for the passenger window & lock buttons only? Or is it more likely to be faulty wiring? Thanks! -

El44 Paseo distributor
Hi all, My distributor internals are demolished Windings ripped apart inside wtf high kms though I guess Was getting error 12 (obd 1) ecu no rpm signal. Surprised the car run at all... did sound like a Subaru though. My question is does anyone have toyota part number or denso p/n for complete distributor? My label is faded and will be hard to check if I'm getting the correct part as secondhand only option. Also there's one at wreckers but it's a 91 mines 93 is there any differences in the dizzy? Also do toyota cars of same era share same dizzy? Like starlet corolla etc. My everyday car so any info would be appreciated Or any good aftermarket dizzies available? Thanks -

Kluger security alarm
The security alarm was triggered because of a problem with the hood latch switch. I fixed it by adjusting the hood stabilizer rubber screws to their lowest setting, allowing the hood to close more tightly and make firm contact with the hood latch. This resolved the issue, and the alarm stopped going off. (in other words, I simply adjusted the hood alignment rubber screws, the two little rubber pieces on each side of the car under the hood.)
