How to identify 150kw motor?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a 2020 Prado, would prefer the later models with the 150kw motor. I believe that cars built after Aug 2020 were updated with the 150kw, is that correct?

Is it possible to tell from the vin which motor it has? There's one on the toyota website that is a sept 20 build, but the specs say that it's got 130kw?

Cheers

I've seen a few people do this with other cars but, you could check with Toyota by providing the VIN. I'm sure they should be able to confirm as information online is pretty sparce and unclear as well which isn't helping your cause sadly.
