Strut replacement

Recommended Posts

Well my Aurion needs 4 new struts, back ones leaking front ones on the way out according to my mechanic. I was quoted $600 for the front and $630 for the rear which seems reasonable. my question is do they replace the whole assembly or just the shocks? if its just the shocks should i ask them to replace the whole assembly instead?

I think that you will find that the quote is to replace the strut only, not the complete assembly.

Following YouTube video by The Car Nut recommends also replacing the top mount particularly for blown/leaking struts.
