Hi all

i have a 2019 Hilux rouge and today i drove over a few potholes that were a little larger than expected, was not travelling at speed.  I now have a metallic rattle that turns up around 40-50kms on acceleration then disappear when at a complete stop, Can also feel it in the steering when turning. The sound was instant like something was dislodged but not its inconsistent could take 200m or 2kms but always goes away when stationary.

i have had a good look under for loose/foreign object but all looks good cv’s and tail shaft feel good, bash plates tight, exhaust tight

Hi Stuart,

Check around the wheel that went into the pot hole, it sounds like something gave there. Jack the car up to do it.
